This project was made to promote collaboration of FIRM and Syndicate Original brands. We (FIRM) teamed up with a Pioneer of streetwear fashion in Ukraine to create a limited edition trench coat and take part in the biggest festival of subculture fashion in Kiev (Don’t Take Fake). For me personally this project is important because it was one of the first experiences in video shooting. I can’t forget the feeling of running around the city streets for the whole night with a group of crazy people and a pocket camera in your hands thinking that “you don’t have a single shot” and “everything you shoot is rubbish”, only to realize after few days of editing that you actually made something special. At the time when in every streetwear brand video you saw bearded hipsters riding fixed gear bikes and showing off their tattoos, the video we created was clearly outstanding. I still love this video.
